Bartel went on to direct a number of other films, including Eating Raoul (1982),Big Trouble in Little China (1986),and Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1989). Bartel died in 2000 at the age of 62. He left behind a legacy of groundbreaking films that continue to be enjoyed by audiences around the world.
